My Story
How did I get here?
I joined Scentsy on 1st October 2018. I had decided that I needed something for me! Something that gave me an identity other than Mummy! Something new to learn and focus on! I signed up on the spot – I'm pretty impulsive like that - not quite sure where it would take me or what my Scentsy journey would look like but feeling excited and motivated right from the word Go! I knew that whatever happened I had nothing to lose and everything to gain! The worst case scenario was I had a kit full of gorgeous products and amazing smells all to myself! Win, win!
I was right! 😊
My job role at the time, as an Area Manager for a childcare provider, was becoming increasingly stressful and was impeding on my family life more and more. Something had to change!
I wanted more time with my children, I wanted to work the hours that suited me and my lifestyle whilst being able to make a difference to people’s lives – and ultimately not be answerable to someone else! I wanted to be my own boss! Make my own decisions and have control over my own destiny!
I discovered very quickly that my passion for the products grew by the day (and still does) I met so many new people both within the Scentsy community and customers and very quickly I knew this lifestyle was for me! I wanted the Scentsy dream!
I love that fragrance brings a smile to people’s faces, I love that it makes people happy but more than anything I love the impact I have witnessed, first hand, Scentsy has had on so many lives whether that’s as a customer or a consultant. The increased self-confidence, independence, sense of belonging and love that the Scentsy brand provides is honestly incredible.
Fast forward 21 months – June 2020 – amid the craziest pandemic I achieved THIS – the title of Director!
I had no previous network marketing experience, no in-depth knowledge about the products and no idea what would happen but I had a dream and that dream is becoming my reality!
